Be direct and honest with feedback while simultaneously showing you care personally about the people receiving feedback. Care personally and challenge directly.
Embrace creativity, experimentation, playfulness, and silliness. Don’t take work too seriously to enjoy the process and lead to more innovative outcomes without the burn out.
Demonstrates the behavior, values, and work ethic you wish to see in your team. Lead through your own actions rather than giving orders or instructions.
The ultimate KPI is the happiness and wellbeing of the people around us. Company profits are just one of many means to generate wealth. Avoid uncontrolled capitalist greed.
Live by the golden rule: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you." This means that if you wouldn’t use a product you designed, is not finished yet.
Focus on achieving specific, measurable outcomes rather than mindlessly following processes or creating deliverables.
