About the project
BBVA, a 170-year-old multinational bank, operated different mobile apps across its European and South American markets due to its expansion through acquisitions. In 2015, the bank launched a digital transformation initiative to unify and elevate its digital experience across all channels. I led the initial exploration for a globally scalable mobile app that could adapt to 14 different countries. Subsequently, I joined the implementation team, helping develop a new design system and collaborating with teams in Mexico City, Madrid, and Dallas to bring the app to life.
